Workshop Learning Objectives
By the end of this 4-part workshop, you will be able to:
- Understand and identify the key vocabulary of color theory.
- Confidently use a split primary palette.
- Control the value of colors by mixing tints.
- Mix a wide range of bright and dulled secondary colors.
- Create harmonious neutral grays and browns by mixing complementary colors.
- Mix a rich chromatic black and various temperatured grays (warm, neutral, cool).
- Improve your ability to "see" and match colors accurately.
- Feel more empowered and intuitive in your color mixing process.
Perfect for beginners and painters who want to be more efficient at color mixing. All supplies are included, just show up but recommended to bring your favorite small flat brush and palette knife if you have them.
There will be a lunch break from 12-12:45 so you can bring a packed lunch or go out to eat in the Crossroads. Vanessa's studio has a refrigerator and microwave.
