"Aspen's Watchful Herd"

Original artwork 11" x 14", oil on Arches Oil Paper, (Soon to be framed and will share framed photos when available), is inspired by a recent fall 2023 trip to Colorado.  This was a scene that I, and several others pulled over by the side of the road, caught a glimpse of a family of moose in a neighborhood in Boreas Pass.  Lovely! I especially loved the yellow hue cast onto everything by the yellow aspens which provided beautiful color contrast to the purple and blue mountains in the background.
