Did you ever fall in love with a blank canvas?
As soon as I saw this circular panel, I had a vision for a bright and playful cityscape painting. I enjoyed warping the perspective of KCMO from Penn Valley Park near the Scout statue to create more of a sphere/ fisheye lens type of feel. I enjoy manipulating my reference photos digitally before using them for paintings and I think you’ll notice me taking more and more liberties as I find freedom in my work.
